What I Learned in 2025: Why Letting Go Is Part of Living Well

What 2025 Taught Me About Letting Go

There’s a simple truth I kept coming back to in 2025:

In order to pick something up, we often have to put something down.

This year wasn’t about doing more.
It wasn’t about pushing harder or filling every space.

It was about choosing more intentionally—and learning to trust that less can actually lead to more.

What I Picked Up

In 2025, I chose to pick up:

  • More time with family

  • Deeper moments in nature

  • Fewer hours of health coaching

  • More space to develop Ninny’s Wellness Teas

Some things slowed down so others could grow.

And while that choice wasn’t always comfortable, it felt deeply aligned.

What I Had to Put Down

To make room, I had to release:

  • Some group coaching offerings

  • Rigidity around routines

  • The pressure to constantly create and keep up

  • And most importantly… caring so much about what others think

Letting go wasn’t failure.
It was refinement.

A quiet recalibration toward what truly matters.

You Can Have It All—Just Not All at Once

This is a lesson I’m still learning.

We can have:

  • Purpose

  • Rest

  • Growth

  • Creation

  • Connection

But rarely all of it at the same time, in the same season.

Each chapter asks something different of us.
And wisdom comes from honoring what this season is asking now.

Choosing What You Value (and What You’re Willing to Give)

This year taught me how important it is to decide:

  • What I truly desire

  • What I deeply value

  • What I’m willing to give in exchange

Sometimes that looks like:

  • Being of service

  • Investing time or energy into something meaningful

  • Saying yes to loved ones

  • Or saying no to what quietly drains us

There is always a trade-off.
That doesn’t make the desire wrong—it makes it intentional.

T

rusting What’s Already on Its Way

The greatest comfort I’ve found is this knowing:

What I desire is already on the way.

I don’t need to rush it.
I don’t need to force it.
I don’t need to worry about the timing.

So often, what we’re waiting for arrives when we finally make room for it.

A Gentle Invitation: January Detox Workshop

As we step into a new year, this season is about supporting—not forcing—our bodies.

If you’ve been feeling sluggish, inflamed, or out of rhythm, I’d love to invite you to my upcoming workshop where we’ll gently support the body’s natural detox pathways—without extremes.

January 25 – Detox Workshop at The Scented Leaf

We’ll explore:

  • How detoxification actually works

  • How to support your liver, digestion, and energy naturally

You Don’t Have to Walk This Season Alone

Healing and growth aren’t meant to happen in isolation.

That’s why I created the Healthy With Nin Community on Skool—a space for women who want grounded guidance, honest conversations, and support through every season of becoming.

Inside the community, you’ll find:

  • Wellness education rooted in nourishment and nervous system safety

  • Conversations around energy, hormones, burnout, and healing

  • Gentle accountability and shared growth

A Soft Question for the Year Ahead

As you move into this next season, ask yourself:

  • What am I ready to pick up?

  • What might I need to put down?

  • What matters most right now?

There is wisdom in honoring where you are.

And there is power in trusting that what’s meant for you will meet you there. 🌿
